Ethical Principles – Bule Hora University Journals (BHU Journals)

Bule Hora University Journals (BHU Journals) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines throughout the submission, review, and publication process.


Author Responsibilities

By submitting a manuscript, authors must confirm the following:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All necessary permissions have been obtained for the use of copyrighted materials (text, images, graphs, tables, etc.).
  • Proper acknowledgment and citation of all sources are provided.
  • Any potential conflict of interest is clearly disclosed before submission.
  • All listed authors have made significant contributions and agree to the submission.

Submission and Review Process

  • Upon submission, authors will receive confirmation of manuscript receipt via email.
  • The Editorial Board conducts a preliminary review within a reasonable timeframe (normally within six weeks).
  • If a manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards, authors will be notified with comments and decisions promptly.

Plagiarism and Misconduct

All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection screening. The journal strictly prohibits:

  • Plagiarism and duplicate publication
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Image manipulation or unethical data presentation
  • Improper authorship attribution

Any manuscript found violating these principles will be immediately rejected.


Use of Materials and Copyright

  • Authors must ensure that all figures, tables, and illustrations comply with copyright laws.
  • Permission must be obtained for reused materials where required.
  • Authors are responsible for proper use of quotations and referenced content.

Accuracy and Corrections

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references, citations, and reported data.
  • If errors are discovered after publication, authors must notify the Editor-in-Chief promptly.
  • Appropriate corrections, retractions, or updates will be made when necessary.
